Sometimes, we encounter people who seem distant or different from what we expected. It's easy to misunderstand their actions or words, but perhaps they're going through something difficult—a struggle we can't see.
We all know that everyone makes mistakes, but applying a simplistic theory like "misunderstanding" to explain someone's behavior feels inadequate. The truth is, the internal battles people face are often hidden from the outside world.
Maybe they're fighting a war every day, where even the smallest moments are a struggle just to survive. We can't see the depth of their emotions or understand the weight of their burdens. That's why it's important not to dismiss someone's pain or take it lightly.
Empathy requires us to look beyond the surface and recognize that everyone has their own battles. Just because we can't see them doesn't mean they aren't real. Instead of rushing to judgment, let's approach others with understanding and compassion.
After all, we never truly know the struggles someone might be facing.
